After two years of waiting, yesterday the decree of the General Directorate "Incentives to Enterprises" of the Ministry of Economic Development arrived, releasing the funding for the Teverola 2 project of FIB S.p.A. (a Seri Industrial Group subsidiary) with 417 million in non-repayable grants from the IPCEI Fund.
The fund, which can be subsequently increased up to the amount of 505.8 million euro, will contribute to the increase in annual production of the Teverola plant, from the current 330 MWh to a good 8.5 GWh by 2024. This is undoubtedly an important step on the road to Energetic Transition, in which Italy responds without delay, aware that it has the first Gigafactory in southern Europe on its soil.
