FAAM is the beating heart of the Seri Industrial Group’s battery division. Active in the development and production of Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) and Lead cells, modules, and storage systems, it is the only company producing lithium cells in Italy and Southern Europe. Thanks to a fully integrated supply chain, FAAM guarantees high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. The Teverola site represents the industrial evolution of the project: from the first Teverola 1 plant, a 0.3 GWh pilot center, to the new Teverola 2 Gigafactory, currently under construction, which will have an annual production capacity of 8 GWh, focusing on prismatic cells for ESS applications, commercial vehicles, and public transport.

In addition to production, FAAM constantly invests in research and development, exploring innovative technologies such as solid-state and sodium-ion batteries. The goal is to respond to new challenges in the energy sector with increasingly efficient, safe, and sustainable solutions, actively contributing to European energy independence.
