The Italian ‘reshoring’ phenomenon starts in Southern Italy thanks to three ambitious Gigafactory projects (made in Italy) that appear to be the antechamber for a real industry to take off in Southern Italy at the service of the conversion to energy storage from renewable sources.

The projects in question are that of the Seri industrial S.p.A. Group, through the Faam brand of its subsidiary FIB S.p.A., those of 3SUN-Enel in Catania, and that of Stellantis in Termoli.
