Eni Industrial Evolution and FIB S.p.A., a company of the Seri Industrial Group, have finalized the operational agreements for the joint development of an integrated industrial value chain in the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery sector.

The initiative includes the production of cells and modules, the assembly of battery energy storage systems (BESS) for stationary applications and industrial and commercial electric mobility, with future developments also covering recycling activities and strategic material production.

The project will be developed across the Teverola (Caserta) and Brindisi industrial hubs, contributing to the growth of a competitive European battery value chain and strengthening Europe’s manufacturing capacity in the energy storage sector.
